Boomeria (Boomeria.com, Boomeria.org) is a one of a kind location. I encourage you to visit the website and take a tour so that you know what a treat you have in for you. A number of the photos are from previous excursions there that we have donated photos back to Boomer.
The Alchemist
Boomeria is both a kids and adult playground. There are opportunities for catacombs, organs, castles, merry-go-rounds, slides, stocks, all of which make for great photo opportunities, or backdrops for portrait work.
We will spend the afternoon shooting at Bommeria, followed by a no host dinner, and then a review and post processing workshop. The evening part will require a laptop to review your photos. Beneficial, though not required, is some post processing software that would allow for simple operations such as cropping.
Logistics
Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014. Boomeria is a 1 hour drive from Los Gatos into the Santa Cruz mountains. Address is 60 Verde Dr., Bonnie Doon. (not sure the map is quite correct) We will meet at 3pm and shoot for several hours with the review & Post processing session held in Sunnyvale at 7PM.
